Good afternoon families,
Welcome to Pajama day!!
We just loved seeing all our friends in their cute Pj’s this morning. They all looked so adorable. We had a fun day planned!
Our morning began in our room for some free play as we waited for all our friends to arrive. Miss Mel had set up a sensory Easter experience for us to explore. The snake was very popular amongst all our friends and we all did some dancing together. We also found our reflections vey fascinating to look at, pulling faces in the mirrors. It wasn’t long before it was time for morning tea. We also did the actions to “row, row, row your boat” with Miss Vanessa, one of our favourite nursery rhymes!!! Our newest friend Camila arrived and had lots of cuddles with Miss Mel and Miss Vanessa as she is still settling in.
We combined with Babies 2 and Babies 1 for a special hot cross bun picnic. Yum yum!! It was fun sitting on the mat with all our friends and educators.
After we cleaned up, we all headed outside for some fun! Miss Shae brought out the balloons and bubbles!!! Yay, we love bubbles. Liz saw Miss Mel with the speaker and said “Shark, shark!!” Baby Shark it was, we all enjoyed a boogie together. Halle loves the little babies, she sat with one of the bubs from Babies 1 and began doing the actions to twinkle, twinkle. You are so adorable Halle!! The chalkboard was popular with the egg-shaped chalk, we just had to encourage our friends to not put the chalk in their mouths, it must have been tasty. Camila enjoyed some quiet time with Miss Vanessa over in book corner looking through the animal books and Miss Mel found a puppy book as mum said she loves puppies.
It was getting a little too hot outside, so we brought the party back into Babies 2 with lots more dancing as our friends explored their indoor learning environment.
Before we knew it, it was time for lunch, we all gathered around the table together and enjoyed sausage rolls and fresh salad. We were having a sleep over in Babies 2!! This was very exciting!! Mel put on some soft relaxing music as we all settled on our beds and our friends into their cots and we all drifted off to sleep.
Wishing all our amazing families a happy and safe Easter break and look forward to seeing you all next week.
Love Miss Mel and Miss Vanessa xxxx
