Happy Friday!
This morning we had a choice of indoor and outdoor play. Outside today we had set up bikes, wheel burrows and lawn mowers, Sandpit play with digger trucks, shovels, rakes and buckets, circus tent with babies and balls to roll, bounce and throw. Inside we had our new food stall, bouncing donkeys, wooden blocks with coloured windows, card, trains and train tracks, doctors and book and puzzles.
We then sat at the table ready for morning tea, this morning we had raisin bread and fresh fruit.
After morning tea we stayed inside to keep warm while the sun was hiding. We had the privilege to do some artwork that will be sent to a retirement village.Our friends loved completing these paintings, and were so proud of themselves seeing the finished product. Orion used his foot to paint a bee ‘Proud to bee me’, Lara used both her feet to create Lady bugs ‘Love Bugs’, Lincoln used 1 hand and 2 feet to write ‘L O V E’ and Ariana used her feet to create Winnie the Pooh and Piglet ‘Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart’. These are so beautiful and special and so much fun for everyone! While each friend took a turn at their art our other friends had fun exploring the room with our new dinosaur display, shop stall and kitchen and playing dress ups with our babies.
After a big fun morning we had lunch, everyone ate all their lunch today. We had shepherds pie and salad. We then had a big rest to recharge for a big afternoon play.
What a busy week we have had in babies 3. Thankyou friends for a great day.
