Hello families,
Happy Friday! We hope you have had a good end to your busy week 🙂
On this rainy Friday morning, we started our day playing inside the Babies 1 room waiting for all of our friends to arrive 🙂
Once we made the transition inside our room, our little friends re-energized their bodies with some fresh morning tea. After that, we got a special visit from Miss Jen – the Funky Feet teacher! We got to participate in some dancing, new songs and shaking our pom-pom’s! The children had so much fun experiencing an exciting Funky Feet lesson 🙂 Thank you miss Jen!
Soon after, we all got to use paint, glitter and some stickers to decorate the Babies 3 pair of jeans, following on from today’s Jeans for Genes Day! The children love to be involved in arts and crafts and exploring their imagination 🙂 Following that, we sat with all our friends and took a photo in all of our denim 🙂 It was so awesome to see everyone help support the cause of Children’s Medical Research and look so cute in all of their jeans! Thank you to all of our families who made this happen 🙂
It was then time for our little friends to enjoy some free-play with their friends. This is a good way for us educators to observe what the children’s interests may be and how they interact with one another; which is an important and beneficial way for a child’s development, as it extends on their social skills, communication, language skills and confidence!
The children then ate all their yummy lunch and had a little rest so that they were ready for the rest of their Friday 🙂
