Good afternoon babies 3 families,
This we stayed inside to do a science experiment to start off science week! We mixed milk with food colouring and detergent and used cotton tips to swirl it around. We also enjoyed role play in home corner with the babies and kitchen, doctors, transport, animals and reading books with our educators.
For group time we did our Aboriginal acknowledgement ‘Here is the land, here is the sky, here are my friends and here am I.’ We also sung the wheels on the bus as we saw a bus go buy and had a discussion on science week.
Outside today the children loved sand play, riding the new bikes, climbing the obstacles, building with the big Lego blocks, did some running races down the side and kept reminding ourselves of ‘no hat no play no fun today’ as we put our hats back on.
For morning tea today we had yoghurt and muesli with fresh fruit, lunch was yummy pizza and salad and after a much needed big rest we will enjoy afternoon tea and a big play before home time.
