Good afternoon babies 3 families,

This morning we ventured outside straight away before it got too cold. The children loved pushing the diggers through the sandpit and building sandcastles, crawling through the tunnel, climbing and balancing on the obstacle, throwing and catching a ball with Miss Talia and riding the bikes. We also had so much fun singing songs and dancing.

Inside today we opened up some new resources, we had sensory blocks with different textures and animal blocks with different dinosaur prints to feel. We also role played in home corner cooking and feeding the babies, doing their daily temperature checks and rocking them to sleep. We explored our animal area making animal noises and our transport area with our train table and cars. The children also loved reading books independently and with their educators, and to finish morning play we had a dance party before lunch.

For morning tea today we had smoothie and watermelon, lunch was yummy pizza with salad and after a big rest we will have afternoon tea and an afternoon play.

What a fun start to the week, thank you friends.
Love from Miss Jelena and Miss Talia

Note:
– Tuesday 4th of August we celebrate National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day. In B3 we’re going to explore this over the whole week!
– We now have a parent communication book out at reception, please write in it if you would like us to give you a call if we aren’t there in the morning or if you need to have a more lengthy conversation so drop offs and pick ups can run smoothly. We would also love to know any of your child’s interests or exciting things happening.
Thank you.
