Good afternoon Dear Families and Friends!
From this week our Center have new manu, the food is very delicious and yummy and children love it. Children enjoyed morning tea and we went outdoors to play on the obstacle course. Babies 2 arrived and they all played together. After some time they saw babies in the send pit and they want to play with them, we all join together and children enjoyed to play in the sand pit digging with shovels.
From 27th May to 3rd June is Reconciliation week, we encouraged children to listen Aboriginal music, use craft to make Aboriginal Flag and do Aboriginal traditional painting using cotton sticks. Today all children make beautiful Aboriginal art, they were very concentrated and focused while they were doing this activity.
An ” Acknowledgment of Country” is an opportunity to acknowledge and pay respect to the Traditional Owners and ongoing custodians of the land- the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Last couple of weeks children showed interest in animlas and today they were using animals stickers to put on our floor book, they carefully removed paper and sticked to the book.
Now they are having rest to get some more energy to be able to play in the afternoon.
Love Miss Jelena xx
