Good afternoon families!!

Welcome to babies two♥♥

Miss Hansani , Miss Tatiane and Miss Otavia welcomed Olive, Indiana, Oskar, Asher, Adeleine, Isla and Daris with lots of cuddles. This morning Babies two and babies three combined until the lunch time as we thought it would be great to engage with Jean’s day craft together. All the boys were so excited to play with the trucks and cars this morning. They moved all the cars from the shelf to the table and started to push them on the table. Miss Otavia encouraged Daris, Oskar and Asher to push the cars and trucks on the floor as there is only limited space on the table. Oskar was really engaged with stacking rings today. he grabbed all the rings and sat on the mat and stacked them one by one. He shared with Olive and Olive was so excited to count every time when Oskar stack a ring. Adeleine Loved playing in the home corner and play with her favourite dolls. She would grab all of them and put them in a one place and enjoy sitting next to them. Indiana and Isla absolutely loved listening to the music and do some dancing. For morning tea, we enjoyed Scrumptious bananarama split.

For the group time Miss Hansani and Miss Otavia decided to play children’s favourite songs and did some dancing. Olive wanted to play ‘’sleeping bunnies’’, Daris asked for ‘’ baby shark’’. So we played all their favourite songs as they requested. Everyone was so excited to dance with Miss Otavia and Miss Hansani. They absolutely loved sleeping bunny song and baby shark. We also played ‘’head shoulder’’ to encourage children to learn our body parts.

Today is jean’s Day so we encouraged children to engage with a free painting. We set up the table with white papers, blue paint and lots of sequins. Everyone happily engaged with the painting and their favourite part was decorating the paint with sequins.

Outside Isla absolutely enjoyed rolling the water sequins sensory bottles on the floor and shake them. Olive also joined with Isla. Olive came to Miss Hansani with a green sensory bottle saying ‘’it’s green inside’’. Then she suddenly heard kookaburra’s sound and got so excited and said ‘’It’s a kookaburra Hansi It’s a kookaburra’’. She would point at all the vehicles travelling on the road saying ‘’ truck, bus or a car’’. Indiana and Oskar enjoyed going on the dinosaurs in the small yard and go on the slide with Olive in the big yard. They would wait until Miss Hansani counts and also waited to get their chance without rushing.

Adeleine loved to play with the trains while Daris throwing and kicking a big ball around the yard. Asher had so much fun pushing the mowers all over yard and he would wave to everyone who walks through the doors. For lunch we enjoyed Friday toast it up meal. For afternoon tea we will be enjoying Chocolate topped rice and sunflower slice. In the afternoon we will be enjoying some outdoor free experiences and then we will be engaging with some indoor free experiences

We practiced our self-help skills by using spoons for mealtime to feed ourselves, put the hats on, find the drink bottles, find the water bottles and wash our hands. Our new goal is encouraging children to put their dishes, bibs and drink bottles away in the baskets after meal time.

For one on one time we Miss Hansani Provided children with different books and encouraged them to choose their favourite book. Asher chose the sensory book so I encouraged him to find the sensory parts of the book and touch them. Isla also joined with Asher to find the sensory parts of the book. Olive grabbed the ‘’puppet book’ so I encouraged Olive to put her hands in and move her fingers to see the puppet dance. With Oskar and Daris we encouraged them to recognise the animals on the alphabet book.

We have put up the daily blog, daily programming and daily pictures up on the wall just before where we enter to the babies room. Miss Jess has created a book called babies two memories with photos of special experiences that we engaged with. Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane will continue the book. Parents can have a look at the book any time, it will be displayed on the parents hub just before you enter to the room.

Much love Miss Hansani, Miss Tatianae and Miss Otavia
