Good afternoon families.
Welcome to babies two. Today we welcomed Parker, Valencia, Bella and Olive in the morning. We had such an amazing day in babies two today. the weather was so nice so we got the chance to do some activities outside as well. We enjoyed some fresh fruits and yoghurt for the morning tea and well done everyone was so confident to use the spoons and feed by themselves. After the morning tea, we put our hats and sunscreen on and headed outside with lots of giggles as they all got excited after Miss.Jess saying ‘’let’s go outside friends’’. Today we chose to play with ice cubes with pom pom inside as the sensory activity for the day. kids loved it. Olive was so happy and said ‘woow…wooww… every time she touches the ice cubes. We all watched and played with the ice cubes until they melt. Valencia and Parker got so excited because finally they were able to touch the pom poms. Then we explored the yard and played around for a bit with babies three friends and came inside. Then we transitioned for the arts and craft time. As we planned sensory activities for this week, we decided to do a finger-painting using pink, black and green colours. Bella and Parker perfectly used their fingers to do the art work. Valencia and Olive enjoyed using their hands to spread the paint all over the paper. It was so much fun. Also we read ‘Milo goes banana’ while we were waiting for the lunch and enjoyed watching at the big pictures while listening to the story.
