GOOD AFTERNOON FAMILIES !!

Welcome to Babies two♥

This morning Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane welcomed Forrest, Oskar, Loki, Austin, Zeppelin and Braxton with lots of cuddles. We stayed combined for a bit with babies one and three friends exploring indoor experiences together. Tommy joined with us after lunch time. While we were inside children enjoyed playing with soft blocks, playing with our colourful turtle and stacking them, doing a race with the cars and trucks and cooking some food in the home corner. Forrest loved reading the palms Farm book and he discovered the animal names!  Oskar and Loki played together around, they discovered their pockets in their jumpers, and they were trying to put their hands inside! Was so cute to see they doing that together! Braxton  loved the turtle with different shapes and colours, he pressed all the button and he was surprised when the turtle head come out once he pressed all the buttons! Zeppelin was so happy playing with the toys that he can shake and listen to the sounds. Then Our friend Austin arrived to have a delicious morning tea with his friends. For morning tea, we enjoyed coconut strawberry delight

For the group Miss Tatiane and Miss Jin sat with the children and read a story called ‘’That’s not my chick’’. At the end of the story we passed the story book to everyone to find the sensory parts of each page. Today we did our activities outside with our friends from babies 3! We engaged with two different activities about the Science Week. The first one was the magic rainbow bottle! We grabbed a jar of water, put some sheaving foam on the top and drop some food colouring on to the shaving foam. The colours slowing fell into the water in different shapes. We used four colours such as red, blue, green and yellow, the colour combination made it looked like a rainbow.. Loki was interested on the way the colours were dropping in the water so, Miss Tatiane put the jar close to Loki to have a close look. Oskar loved to touch the shaving foam as it was fluffy. Braxton enjoyed the texture of the foam too! Forrest looked carefully trying to understand how it works! All the children enjoyed the science week activities as the experiences were new and exciting.

The second activity was a blue sensory goop play! Children engaged with a sensory goop experience made with corn flour and water. We put in a big black tray so everyone can enjoy the experience. Children absolutely loved the texture of the goop. They would grab some goop in their hands and watch the way it drops onto the floor. For lunch we enjoyed wholesome shepherds pie bites with cauliflower mash. For afternoon tea we will be enjoying scroggin trail mix. For one-on-one time Loki practiced some colours such as black, white, red and pink. He would repeat after Miss Hansani. With Zeppelin we encouraged him to hold his own bottle.

We have put up the daily blog, daily programming and daily pictures up on the wall just before where we enter to the babies room. Miss Jess has created a book called babies two memories with photos of special experiences that we engaged with. Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane will continue the book. Parents can have a look at the book any time, it will be displayed on the parents hub just before you enter to the room.

Please pack some clothes for warm weather as it can get really warm in the afternoon now.All the parents you are more than welcome to bring us some ideas for the ‘’science week’’ this week.

Much love Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane……
