Jingeri families,

Well we certainly are starting to find a comfortable rhythm in our beautiful little room. The flow is becoming smoother and the transitions easier as we near the end of the first month of the year.

Our little room is buzzing with energy, with nine small humans in for a learning journey. Emmett, Max, Finley, Cameron, Indi, Ruby, Jackson and Tai welcomed our newest recruit to the adventure, Elliana. And what a fantastic beginning, settling in immediately to the new surroundings and engaging herself in the new activities. Indi is loving the drums, and Ruby is completely absorbed by the sensory balls. The two girls are definitely starting get the sound right for some of their first words, even trying out two words connected. Emmett is growing physically at the moment, with his core strength and speed improving dramatically. He is energetic and enthusiastic. Jackson has had a particularly friendly mood today, actively seeking the company of his buddies. they are all playing together so nicely. The stacking blocks are still a huge favourite for Max, and Finley is still mostly interested in climbing. Cameron is learning to use the cars and vehicles more, moving them around the space to new areas. Tai loves the foam blocks, banging them and stacking them with glee.

It has been a great day, and I can feel a sense of well-being coming into the room as our collective relationships deepen, allowing the children to trust each other and the educators. This will in return strengthen their individual confidence and self-esteem.

I look forward to tomorrow.
