Happy Wednesday families and friends…

Today in the Kindergarten 2 Room the children were excited to take part in a trail session of ‘Little Big Sports’. The children practiced their ball skills and  listening skills as they carefully turned the coloured cones with their feet and practiced kicking the ball into the nets.

Indoors we started our day with our ‘Acknowledgement of Country’ and ‘days of the week’ song. Ryan shared his dinosaur book for show and tell and then shared his book with his friends later in the day. Play and learning time today we continued on with role play with the dinosaurs and play dough and natural materials. The children also enjoyed matching the magnets to the dinosaurs in the ‘Dinosaur Rescue’ story book. We also discussed that some dinosaurs used to eat meat called carnivores and some dinosaurs used to eat plants.

Group time we shared another story brought along by our friend Emerson entitled  ‘A Dinosaur called Tiny’. The book shared the message that just because you might be small, doesn’t mean you can’t do big things like help your friends…

Well…  I hope you enjoy the photos…
