Hello families and friends…

What a super, duper fun day in the Kindergarten Two Room today..This morning we shared our Acknowledgement to Country and good morning song and then transitioned to wash hands to enjoy many helpings of our delicious morning tea.

.The children were excited to choose their own experiences today as we engaged in conversation during our morning yarn time and discussed some of their favourite activities. The children chose transport puzzle play, animal threading, painting with the fluro paint pens, role-play with the doctors and nurses kit, drawing shapes on the chalkboards and farm animal play. Mr Daniel then joined us for ARAKAN. The children excitedly took turns and practiced their Martial Arts skills. Some friends decided to just observe today and maybe have a turn next week…

We have also been practicing our daily routine and having fun with learning new transition games to wash our hands before meal times.  The children’s favourite transition thus far has been the ‘questions game’ where Miss Leesa asks each child their favourite food, animal and colour…

Group time today all the children chose the story about the sea animals entitled ‘Way Down Deep in the Deep Blue Sea’. The children identified their favourite sea animals,  Ella chose an octopus, Harper chose a shark, Zachary chose a sea turtle and Taran chose an octopus. Due to the children’s interest in sharing this story twice this week we thought we would extend on this sea animal theme next week and learn more about the ocean and the animals that call it home…

Lunch time today the children continued practicing their self-help skills as they self-served their own rice and salad with the tongs. The children displayed wonderful confidence and independence in serving their own meal. Well Done Friends…

Well… Enjoy the photos…

Love Miss Leesa
