| Jingeri! We enjoyed some outdoor play this morning with the children from Pre-kindy, Senior- kindy and Kindy One. This morning the children found a caterpillar and Mr Andrew put it in a container with some leaves and grass. The children were very intrigued by the caterpillar and spend quite some time simply watching it and asking lots of questions. Today we decided to have a small dance party to Disney music. Rosie and Harper decided to dress up as ‘Queen Elsa’ and spin and dance around the room. Other friends decided to listen to the Disney music from their activity and jigged around in their seats. Other friends decided to listen to the Disney music from their activity and jigged around in their seats. Emerson and Zachary went off to tennis lessons with Mr Trevor before lunch. They were very excited to go and were enthusiastic to share what they had done and show their friends their new stickers. Taran was a wiz with our new puzzles today smashing out all of the puzzles over and over. Taran and Emerson were very polite assistants to their friends, helping out when they would become stuck on a tricky piece. We spent quite a lot of time today completing puzzles, it seems to be a favourite current interest of the children. Emerson and Hendrix build themselves a cubby today out of their sheets and the baby sheets from home corner. They took their favourite toys inside and enjoyed their little space to themselves. In home corner, Luna and Macy spent some time setting up a house within the police and fire stations, and Zachary and Rosie set up house within the dollhouse. It was lovely to see the children be creative in their expressive and dramatic play. We focused on our fine motor skills development today in our creative play activities. Hendrix enjoyed drawing pictures and then cutting out the shapes that he had drawn. Harper decided she was going to take the roll and walked around the room putting dashes on her page for all of her peers, she then cut them out. Luna and Macy worked together to create multiple colourful pictures. Thank you for a lovely day, see you tomorrow! Miss Shannan
