Happy Thursday parents and guardians,
We had a busy day with planned experiences however the children opted for a day of self-selection. The drawing table was the busiest area to visit today with Billy, Ivy Aleksandar, Vaughn, Colton, Lincoln, Harper, Delila, Sayde and Harry all extending their fine motor skills with the Texta’s, Here is what they drew:
Delila – Heaps of names
Harper – a smiley face
Lincoln – a sad face
Colton – a car
Vaughn – spaceship
Aleksandar – “My home”
Ivy – dinosaurs
Billy – a snake.
Before participating in drawing, Ivy and Colton explored the numbered cars, together they were counting to 8 and placing the cars in ascending order. Next to Ivy and Colton were, Bjorn, Conall and Lachie exploring the jungle trough, They then took the dinosaurs over to Sayde and Lincoln at the tables.
Cohen, Harry and Myla were busy cooking up a storm in the dramatic play area, while Harper, Ariana and Charlotte role-played as hair dressers in the dramatic play area, before discovering the identities of mums and babies on the mat area.
We are still having technical issues with uploading images of the day. the photos will be printed and placed with he program inside the PK classroom.
