Happy 1st of December!

This morning we celebrated Christmas getting closer by singing along to some Christmas tunes such as ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer’. We called out the role and then played a numeracy transition game where we practiced counting to 6 around the circle.

Today we worked on our Christmas presents for our families and had big chats about our Christmas decorations at home. The children enjoyed free drawing with our new pens, racing the cars around on the big town mat, building with the connector blocks, role playing with each other in the home corner and hairdressing station and painting a Christmas wreath that Miss TJ made using branches from the tree.

We then headed outside into the sandpit to enjoy some fresh air. The children are getting so good at the monkey bars. They all lined up and gave the monkey bars their best shot, holding on for as long as they can.

What a great day! We hope you had a great day too.
