this morning we opened up dried marigold flowers to find hundreds of seeds. We sprinkled the seeds into pots and the children asked to water them. We then went on to discuss how we can recycle in the garden and how our fruit and vegetable scraps can turn into rich soil. Discussions of food groups as took turns to build our compost pile with dry grass.

Indoors we interacted with stick insects and learnt about their environmental significance. A group game of tiggy in the playground had the children sharing lots of laughs and squeals. A game of silent ball indoors and transitioned to school with limbo.

This afternoon we read books played uno, connected orbz, courted in and drew and chose songs for dancing games.

Children freely flowed and extended on their interests with a sense of agency. A lovely way to end our week.

best wishes to everyone over the long weekend. Stay safe πŸ₯°πŸ’šβ€οΈπŸŒΊπŸ› from Miss Lea
