Hello families and friends…
Today in the Senior Kindy room we celebrated ‘National Pyjama Day” to raise awareness and support for children in Foster Care. Thank you for all your kind donations. The children were very excited to show off their cosy ‘pj’s’ to their peers as they enjoyed some yummy ‘hot chocolate’ after morning tea.
Today we continued on with our Australian Animal theme as we shared two wonderful books entitled ‘Animals around the Billabong’ and ‘Silly Galah’. The children have done so well this week learning all about the many animals we have living in our part of the world.
This morning we also welcomed back Miss Jen from Funky Feet Dance. The children were very excited to join the Pre-Kindy group on the outdoor classroom to sing, dance and have fun. Other play experiences today included sharing books in book corner, matching the animals on the magnet board, drawing on the chalkboards, transport play, puzzle play, grocery shop play in home corner and songs with actions.
