A warm welcome from Senior Kindy Classroom
Another wonderful day to explore and spend time with our friends around here. We began our morning in the playground with our friends from Pre-Kindy and Kindergarten – Played in the dolls house – constructions in the sandpit and dinosaur land were the most favorite experiences in the yard.
Also, this morning the children were so excited to explore the room and engage in a variety of experiences. Once we came inside the children chose a book “ Bluey – The beach” (a lift – the- flap book) and asked Miss Gabi to read it. Then everybody sat down on the mat and listened very carefully to the story and guessed what was behind the flaps in the book.
For our activity time today Miss Gabi set up a table with pasta threading. The children were also given the opportunity to express their creativity continuing with sponge painting that the children had started Friday last week- today they chose the colours pink and purple for their pictures. – they were so proud of what they created!
The children also enjoyed exploring and engaging with the following activities: Babies, Home corner, Building with blocks, Cars and much more.
Now we are having a lovely rest time in our beds listening to soft music and relaxing by charging our energy for another big play outside in the afternoon!
Everybody is looking forward to seeing Miss Leesa back with us tomorrow!!!
