Hello families and friends…
Well… another rainy day! That’s ok because the Senior Kindy children kept super busy with lots of fun experiences. Today the children enjoyed creating farm and zoo animal scenes with the felt stories, role playing with the farm animal figurines and barn and then extending this play as the children utilised the farm animals to engage in play with the play dough. The children also expressed their creativity with chalk drawing on the chalkboards and water colour painting. Home corner was popular today as the children played in small groups and pairs to play grocery shops, tea parties, baby doll play and dress-ups.
Group time today we engaged in conversation about Santa coming very soon to visit our homes as we sang ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’ and ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’. Mr. Dan then arrived for ARAKAN and today due to the weather we enjoyed practicing our Martial arts skills indoors. The children did so well waiting their turn as Mr Dan taught the lesson in 2 groups. The children also happily cheered each other on as they had fun engaging. Well Done friends…
