Happy Thursday families and friends…
Today in the Senior Kindy room the children were excited venture out into the front playground to join in with ARAKAN Martial Arts with Mr Daniel. The children called out ‘Mr. Dan’ as he made his way into the playground with his bag of resources. The children lined up along the fence patiently waiting for instructions as Mr. Dan collected his gloves and mitts for the children to practice their martial arts skills. The Senior Kindy friends took turns as they chased the mitts and practiced jumping and ducking down. The children also enjoyed jumping and balancing on the obstacle course and taking turns on the scooters and 3-wheeler bikes.
Indoors the Senior Kindy children were given the opportunity to continue on practicing their self-help skills as they utilised the tongs self-serve their salad bar today for lunch. The children chose their favourite salad options including corn, cherry tomatoes, peas, shredded cucumber and carrot. The children demonstrated wonderful confidence in their fine motor-hand/eye coordination skills as they served their own meal. Well Done Friends…
