Hello friends and families,
This morning we welcomed Parker, Rumi, Lincoln, Zahra, Dominic, Lilly, Kennedy, Lachlan, Alanis, Henry and Luca into the yard where we jumped over hurdles, climbed over the obstacle courses, ran up and down the green hill, rode bikes, and played in the water creek. The children had a blast! It was then time to head indoors. We sat down for group time where Miss Deb read us “we are going on a bear hunt” and sang us some nursery rhymes. We then washed our hands and sat down for morning tea.
After morning tea, we set up some animal footprint painting, to continue with our weekly animal theme. The children loved it! They used different animals, dipping them into paint and watching the footprint come out as they stamped them onto the paper. The children also enjoyed free play in the room where they role played “shops” in home corner, played with the dinosaurs and read books to eachother. The children really enjoy free play, engaging with both their educators and their peers. It was then time to pack away and head outdoors where the children threw the ball around with Miss Simona. We then headed inside for lunch.
What a beautiful day we have had.
