Hello families and friends…
Today in the Senior Kindy room we continued on with engaging in conversation about different types of ‘occupations’ and ‘what we want to be when we grow up’. During Yarn Time some of the children shared their thoughts and ideas about what they want to be when they are ‘big’. Some friends suggested they wanted to be a Police Officer, a Post Officer, a Dancer, a Princess and a Doctor. We then read a story entitled ‘Emergency’ which shared all the important things that emergency workers do for us.
This morning the children had so much fun exploring the playground that we decided to venture back outdoors upon the children’s request after morning tea. The children enjoyed riding bikes, cooking in the outdoor kitchen, making music on the keyboard, reading books in the cubby house, watering the garden, role-playing with the diggers and taking turns on the swings in the sandpit.
What a super fun day of learning and play in the Senior Kindy room today…
