Happy Friday families and friends. After our acknowledgment to country and group transition to morning tea morning, the children were very excited to see Miss Jen when she came to let us know she was ready for our weekly dance class. The children enjoy engaging in dance, where they practise their motor skills as they participate in stretching, jumping, hopping and skipping routines. Other activities that we engaged in today included – an art experience with coloured glue and paddle pop sticks, cooking in home corner. Our Yarn time book today was ” Guess What Colours”. We also sang our turtle songs and at mid morning group time group time we learnt a new song called “Five Little Dragonflies” with Miss Lyn’s felts. We also continue to practise our self help skills, as we scrape our plates into bin when we have finished eating.
