Good afternoon Toddler One Families and Friends. Once again this morning we took advantage of the beautiful weather and chose to extend our outdoor play, sharing the diggers and trucks as we transported sand around the sandpit. Some of us filled buckets with water to take to the sandpit, where we then made sandcastles using wet sand. Running races abounded, with lots of laughter filling the air, as friends happily raced from one end of the playground to the other, seeing who could be the quickest. Once inside the children were given the opportunity to engage in an art experience using fine brushes and purple paint, as part of Purple Day, to recognise Epilepsy Awareness. While engaging in this activity the children used their turn taking skills as they shared the paintbrushes. Other activities included track construction for our trains as well as  our Acknowledgment to Country, our morning songs and rhymes as well as Yarn Time. Todays stories  were  ” Where’s My Dinner” and “What’s That Noise Little Mouse” …. We also continue to practise our good hygiene skills as we wash our hands before and after our meals.

See You All Tomorrow
