Good afternoon Toddler One families and friends & Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

We have had a fun and busy morning of exploration and learning. We started our morning with some of our friends enjoying role play with the computer keyboards and phones as they pretended to take phone calls and type on the keyboards, Our art activity today saw a few friends creating Shamrocks for St. Patricks day, to display on our window. Ivy laughed and said that the paint tickled her hand.  We also enjoyed construction with the large leggo blocks as well as role play with the police and firehouse construction sets. The magnetic connectors were also fun, as we looked through them, naming the colours. Green was Banjo’s favourite. Other experiences we’ve enjoyed today are – Yarn time where Miss Leesa read “Where Is The Giraffe” – Our acknowledgment to country – singing our morning greeting and favourite songs – Transition song today was “Bee Bee Bumble Bee” – While outdoors this morning we enjoyed digging in the sand. riding our bikes and navigating our obstacle course. We will continue to offer indoor outdoors play each day this week, taking advantage of the cooler days. We look forward to seeing you all again tomorrow … Love from Miss Leesa & Miss Lyn.xxx
