Today we welcome Hendrix and his family to the centre and into the toddler two room, today was his first day and he had a wonderful day. we also welcome Ivy, Evie and Lachlan in the room with Miss Shelby today.
When Hendricks arrived he sat down with Miss Shelby to eat his weet-bix for breakfast and was given a new animal sound book where he pressed the button to hear the different animal sounds. He also showed interest in doing pencil drawing.
After having morning tea Miss Shelby set up some red and yellow play dough with some shape cutters and rolling pins, Ivy made a star using the star shaped cutter, Hendrix was busy using the roller to flatten the play dough, Evie filled the circle shape up with the play dough and Lachlan filled the love heart cutter up with the red play dough.
The children showed interest in doing drawing today and played with stickle bricks.
At lunch time Evie, Ivy and Hendrix did a great job at eating their chicken, rice, curry sauce, cheese, cucumber and carrot. Hendrix said cheese yummy, Evie and Ivy used their words to ask for more food saying ”more please”.
