Good afternoon friends and family,
It’s 3 more days until Christmas and our friends are getting so excited! This morning we welcomed our friends, Onyx, Kynell, Nayla, Parker, Alia, Macsen, Dominic, Nikora, Kezia, Diego, Abel, Ivy and Alanis into the yard. Our friends enjoyed free play this morning exploring the bike track, doing laps of the obstacle course and playing canteen!
We sat down together after a big play to cool off, drink some water and sing ‘bee bee bumble bee’. After transitioning inside for morning tea, we read “It could have been worse!” and “AHHH-OOOOO”, our friends sat so patiently and calmly. We then, turned off the lights, and put our ‘dancing shoes’ on and had a dance disco party!! We got to show all our friends our groovy moves and get a lot of energy out! We then sat down with Miss Bec and Miss Maddi and take it in turns to stick recycled magazine pictures on a cardboard box. This helped us be patient and wait for our turn and practice our fine motor skills.
Later in the morning, after indoor play, we put our hats on and went outside for more outdoor play before lunch. For lunch, we ate “Healthy Spinach and Lentil Lasagne” and then had a big sleep! We are now resting and will be ready for a big play this afternoon!
