Good Afternoon Families,
We have had a very busy day today here at kindy! This morning we started our day in the yard with our friends, climbing, throwing balls everywhere and riding bikes. Miss Gabi got out the dress ups box for us, and some of us really enjoyed dressing up in princess dresses, fairy costumes, and soldiers.
We then transitioned inside for morning tea where we had raisin toast and fruit. This is our favourite morning tea, we all eat so much!! After morning tea, we had some indoor free play where we were drawn to puzzles and blocks. Some of us enjoyed putting together the different pieces of the puzzle, and others were just happy to build towers with the blocks. Miss Bec then found us some bubble wrap, we loved this! It is so cool press down and hear it pop pop pop!
Miss Thais then set up our second ‘science week’ activity for the week. Today we made a volcano in the sand! This was so cool!!! We mixed vinegar, bicarb soda and food colouring to cause the reaction. All we wanted from this experiment was MORE!
Miss Thais then sat us down where we sang some songs, read our ‘biting book’, and shared a group time with our friends before it was time for lunch.
We have had an amazing day here in Toddler 2.
