Welcome families and friends to another fabulous week of fun and play in the Toddler room. Today the children had a wonderful time exploring the great outdoors. Harry and Kaylee spent time together collecting the river rocks in the wheelbarrows and pushed them about on the bike track. Ellie practiced her gross motor balancing skills, riding the scooter and Harvey raced about the play ground on his motor bike. We then transitioned indoors for our acknowledgement to country and morning songs. Play time today the children practiced their fine motor skills engaging in play dough play, making cupcakes, birthday cakes and a variety of shapes with the cookie cutters. The children were then given the opportunity to express their creativity and use of imagination via painting using the stamping tools. The children had a wonderful time spreading paint across their page. Yarn time today we shared stories of children’s choice. Today’s favourite book was entitled ‘There’s a Hippo on our Roof Eating Cake’ Wow.. What a super fun day of learning and play…
