Good afternoon,
Happy Friday! Today we welcomed Abel, Ruby, Luna, Halle, Liz, Thomas, Isabella, Lara, August, Delilah, Myah, Ariana and Quintin. We started our morning off indoors. Miss Thais got “5 little monkeys” flashcards where the children could practice counting numbers while we sang together. To extend their interest in counting we also played with wooden numbers.
Before our morning tea, Miss Thais read 2 books chosen by the children. Ruby chose “Teeth are not for biting” and Abel and Lara chose the “Wheels”. We sat at the table for our delicious morning tea which was “Amazing Chickpea, sweet potato, and Tahini muffins”.
For our Group Time today, we did dress-ups and had a DANCE PARTY! The children loved to listen to different songs and also our famous “baby shark” and “Freeze Dance”. The children could also help themselves while they were choosing their different dress-ups.
After the dance party, Miss Maddi made us playdough and we added different utensils- scissors were our favorite one! We pretend to make cakes and Abel and Augie started to sing “Happy birthday” to their friends.
Later in the morning Miss Emma came to the Room and got a surprise for us, so we all went to the babies Yard to find the “surprise”. The surprise were three massive different Australian animals. The children got so excited with the Koala, Kookaburra and Cockatoo. Our friends loved this surprise all standing at the gate pointing to each animal they saw!
