Happy Monday families and friends,
Hope you had a great weekend. This morning we started our day greting our friends in the Yard, where we chose to play in the sandpit and obstacle course. We also said Hi to the horses over the gate.
For our transition time we read the Book ‘s with Miss Maddi “Daring Dinosaur Alphabet”and “Dinoshapes” and then we sang very excited our favourite song “Bee Bee bumble bee” before wash our hands and sat at the table for morning tea.
After morning tea was activity time where Miss Thais prepared for us the “Dinosaur Ice Excavation”. The children had fun with some ICE and little dinosaur creatures where the children were able to do their very own DINO ICE EXCAVATION. The children attacked it with different shovels and released the dinosaur from the ice age prison. This activity has so many learning opportunities. They learn all about different dinosaur names, discuss the ice age and what happened all those years ago, practicing counting and colour recognition and strengthen fine motor skills.
After the activity, was YOGA time, where the children were excited to practice some yoga outdoor before transitioning inside for lunch.
