Welcome Toddler families and friends to our Monday blog.

Miss Jena and Miss Bea welcomed back our friends this morning after Mothers Day weekend. I hope all the mothers out there got spoilt and were treated to a speacial occasion.

“Old habits die hard” – it was amusing to see how many of the children went towards their old classroom last week, there will a little bit of adjusting I’m sure. I wonder if this week they will be well appointed to the changes. Despite the adjusting the children have been enjoying exploring the new environment which has some great features like a cosy reading corner, lots of natural materials and plenty of beautiful play spaces. Grace has already made the home corner her own, setting up the baby high chair and cooking meals for all of the babies.

We enjoyed sport and movement time today, we played some of children’s favourite games including “Sleeping bunnies” and sang their favourite nursery rhymes like oldmacdonald had a farm. We went over to see the horsey and also tried doing galloping of our own.  Then we enjoyed the story about Our Wriggly Worm Farm. The children really enjoyed pointing out all the types of fruit in the book we like to eat like bananas and apples. We look forward to making our own worm farm in the coming weeks and learning all about what vegetables to put in the worm farm for them to enjoy.

We have been able to display our programming out front for parents and families to have their input as well because we would love your feedback on what you would like your children to be learning or what you would like to see happening in the classrooms.

Enjoy the rest of your Monday everyone.
