Good afternoon and Happy Tuesday!
This morning we welcomed; Charlie, August, Luna, Quintin, Ariana, Bella, Halle, Diego, Archie, Liz, Abel, Ruby, Thomas and Millie! We started off our morning outdoors enjoying the fresh air. We are enjoying be able to go outdoors first thing in the morning as its starting to warm up again.
Outdoors; we watered our plants from Miss Lea – we are loving watching them slowly grow. We also had a beautiful time on the swing with Miss Lauren, some of us requested an apple to eat with Miss Maddi on the picnic table and others loved practicing the two wheel bikes!
As the morning passed so quickly we sat down with Miss Maddi and Miss Jordan to read “What’s that animal following me?” and followed with “Hello how are you” and the one and oly “Bee Bee Bumble Bee” to transition indoors to fill our tummies with Homemade Beans on Sourdough Turkish.
For group time today we rotated between two groups to celebrate Halle’s Birthday and Muharram (Islamic New Year)!!! Indoors with Miss Maddi, we all had a turn at baking cupcakes for Halle – we were very focusing on strengthening our gross motor skills with mixing! Outdoors with Miss Jordan and Miss Danica we coloured in beautiful Islamic temples that Miss Thais had found for us! This helped us also strengthen fine motor skills!
After group time we had some spare time to enjoy spontaneous play outdoors before coming back inside for a Rainbow Sushi Bowl for lunch !
We are resting now and saving up energy for play this afternoon!
