Hello families and friends…
Today in the Toddler room we continued on with our Easter celebrations as we all joined in and sang ‘Sleeping Bunnies’ and ‘Mrs Bunny Looks Funny when she Twitches her Nose”. Miss Thais showed off her drawing skills as she drew little bunnies for the children to decorate with cotton bud painting. The children enjoyed painting the bunnies nose and whiskers. We will continue on with collaging our Easter crowns tomorrow as we are all very excited that the Easter bunny will be visiting soon.
The children then gathered on the mat to engage in transport play. The Toddler friends have been doing so well during this type of play as they identify and negotiate roles and cooperate with their peers as they pretend to be fire persons and police officers. To further extend on this interest Miss Leesa collected the transport mat and the children quickly gathered around to choose their favourite digger to push along the track. Beep…Beep…
Outdoor play today the children had a wonderful time on the swing, pretending to go to the shops in the outdoor car and engaging in sensory play in the sandpit. The children have also been enjoying pushing the red wheelbarrows around the garden and collecting the river rocks.
