Happy Monday everyone, we hope you all had a wonderful weekend
Today we started our day inside as it was a little chilly outside, we welcome only 4 friends today. Welcoming Hendrix, Kyro, Luca and Lachlan with Miss Shelby and Miss Thais.
Miss Shelby created a construction play area with construction hats and jackets, Luca enjoyed wearing both the hat and jacket. Kyro explored the farm house and animals, when he shut the door he said ”oh no” and Miss Shelby set down with Hendrix and Luca to create a train track using the train set. Lachlan brought in his balloon from his 2nd Birthday yesterday and had fun throwing it up in to the air.
This week is Science week so today Miss Shelby made goop with the children, at the table Kyro, Hendrix and Luca enjoyed watching Miss Shelby add the corn flour and water into the bowl to make the goop. Hendrix did a great job at recognising and naming the coloured water dye saying red and yellow.
Hendrix and Luca had a turn at mixing the red, yellow and green dye with their hands and watched as the colours mixed together. Miss Shelby gave Kyro a paint brush to mix the ingredients together as he didn’t want to use his hands to touch the goop.
