Good Afternoon Families,
We have had such a beautiful day today! We welcomed our friends into the yard this morning with puzzles, bikes, balls, books, and our big parachute. We have been going out into the yard earlier as the days are getting hotter quicker! We enjoyed patting the horses this morning too we have been getting more and more confident with patting them!
After free play we washed our hands and sat outside with toddlers 1 to eat morning tea together, we had pear and watermelon with blueberry muffins, it was delicious!
We then stayed outside to continue to our group time, during group time Miss Thais froze farm animals inside ice blocks and our friends love playing with them as they slowly melted. They also liked to feel the ice in their little hands and guess which animal was inside. After, our friends got to choose between playing with farm animals and stacking timber blocks for more independent play.
It has been a hot day today so before lunch, we did some water play too, we are loving being able to cool down and splash our friends! We then transitioned inside to wash our hands and have delicious burgers for lunch!
