Sunshine Wednesday♥
Hello and welcome to a fabulous day, there was so much enjoyment throughout the day and I look forward to telling you all about it.
This morning the children began it outside and helped Miss Jess make a obstacle course with the beams. Finely, Cameron and Thomas enjoyed the sea saw while other children liked digging in the sandpit, riding the bikes, playing peek-a-boo behind the tree and dancing to music on the veranda. We then welcomed Lydia to our room with open arms and smiles. Lydia LOVED seeking around the playground in search of a great adventure as she went from digging in the sandpit, looking through the books on the mat and sea saw. Lydia was also welcomed by her fellow peers as they said ”Hello” with smiles.
It was then time to join together on the group mat inside with Miss Gabi and Miss Hope and Miss Jess. Miss Gabi started group time by introducing everyone to Lydia, we then continued on by reading a book and finishing with ”Wheels on the bus” before we sung our transition song to wash hands for morning tea. When they had finished and all packed away, with help they applied sunscreen as they got ready to head out to the double playground where Miss Gabi had set up water play and MORE! They all were eager to see as they raced outside to the gate. In one tray there was sea animals along with water and in the second tray was water with flowers. There was also mirrors that reflected the sky and they enjoyed picking them up and moving them around to see what they could see! All children thoroughly enjoyed the activities outside this morning. Water play not only helps enhance on imagination and creativity but it also helps to enhance on language, cognitive skills, social and development skills and more!
What a fun and exiting morning it had been and now it was time to come back through to our yard where they got changed into fresh clothes before taking foot around their playground before they came inside for a recharging lunch and rest. This afternoon after they woke they all helped to tidy their beds away before getting ready for a delicious afternoon tea to keep us fuelled for this afternoons exploration.
