Welcome families and friends to another fun-filled day of learning and play in the Toddler Room today. This morning after our Acknowledgement to Country the children all settled on the mat to share the ‘Macca the Alpaca’ storybook. The children really enjoyed the ‘Alpacas with Maracas’ story from last month so much that we decided to share the whole series of books with the children. The story demonstrated that its always important to be kind to our friends. After morning tea the children requested the Lego set and the doll house for play time. The children have been doing so well playing in small groups and pairs to engage in role play with the dolly house and build farms with the Lego.. We continued on with our river rock painting and water colour painting today. The children really enjoy expressing their creativity during these art experiences. Other play opportunities today included dancing to Disney tunes, working together to complete the 6-8 piece transport puzzles and building with the train tracks. Wow… What a wonderfully busy day at kindy today…
