Good afternoon families and friends. It’s been a fun Friday in our vacation care room. Today we had our funky hair day. Taylah, Keyahlee and Oliver all showed off their very funky hairstyles. The children chose not to have their dance party and asked if they could play stunt cars instead, where they engaged in car races on an off road track designed by Bentlee. Then we went to the side yard, where Taylah, Keyahlee, Oliver, Austin and Entae had a blast participating in jumping sack races, amid gales of laughter. This afternoon we chilled with some board games. Taylah brought in a game called – Speak Out – where the children use their own individual mouthpiece and say a sentence that the other children have to guess. This a great challenge and everyone had heaps of fun. Thankyou Roxy for providing the bag for the used mouthpieces to go into. We also had a game of Trick Sticks brought in by Miss Lyn. Other activities we engaged in today were – making our fruit salad for afternoon tea, reading, card games, colouring and building with the blocks. It’s been a fun week & we are looking forward to seeing you all next week. Have a lovely weekend everyone.
