Good Evening families and friends. Today was an awesome day as we traveled to Nerang Cineplex Theatres to watch the movie Dragon Rider about a little dragon who sets off in search of the mythical & mystical place called The Rim of Heaven, making some new friends on his adventure and saving his dragon family. The children all thoroughly enjoyed the movie and also enjoyed their bus ride, as they initiated and engaged in conversations with their educators and the friendly bus drivers about they movies they like and have at home and also movies they would like to see… some of the children also played a game of I Spy … once back at the centre we had a play in the slide yard before lunch, where we chatted with each other about the movie and which characters and dragons we liked. After lunch we played some board games and did some colouring, before heading back out to the slide yard to have a picnic afternoon tea and participate in some races and a game of statues as well as having races down the slides and up the stairs. Lots of laughter and fun had by all! Enjoy your evening & we will see you again tomorrow…
